In fiecare primavara urmaresc izbucnirea mugurilor in frunze si flori superbe si apoi in cursul anului citesc trecerea anotimpurilor peste mica noastra zona verde. Plopi, tei, salcami, castani, pini, tuia, o nebunie frumoasa, verde, vie, parfumata primavara, umbroasa toata vara, aurie toamna.

Azi dimineata devreme, cand am deschis geamurile, parfumul salcamilor infloriti a umplut casa.

I am lucky to live in a nice place, far enough from the main road, on an alley hidden by lots of trees and bushes. Every spring I watch with great delight the green explosion of life. Poplars, limes, accacias, chestnuts, pines, all kinds of schrubs, a green madness, this is how I call it and I love it.

The big chestnut tree in front of my kitchen window is in full bloom and I adore it's majestic flowers. I always think of them as of some giant candles in a great cathedral.

In fiecare an, cand infloresc salcamii, imi amintesc de o calatorie facuta candva in zona Vaslui; sotul meu pleca intr-o delegatie si avea posibilitatea sa ne ia si pe noi cu el.

This morning, when I opened the windows, I smelled the bloomed accacias. Oh, I remember again... It was some years ago, when we had to make a trip to Vaslui, a town placed in the eastern part of the Romania, called Moldova. We had to leave Bucuresti late in the night, but we were filled with joy, we were together and we were on the road, yupiii! All went well and after we left the town of Bacau, we headed toward east. Soon, the landscape changed a little and we found ourselves on a road which was swirling between hills. Nobody was on the road except for us. We stopped once and we saw the most beautiful scenery possible: on the right side of the road there was a big lake and the full moon was reflecting itself in all its splendour. On the left side of the road there was a huge accacia forest in full bloom and its strong and sweet perfume was filling the night air. A few little frogs were croaking, but otherwise the silence was perfect. We stood there and watched everything for quite a while. But we had to continue our trip so, reluctantly, we started the engine and broke that godly silent...

Not too far away, we had another big surprise: we found ourselves driving through huge lime forests, also in full bloom! Lime forests for miles and miles! Their wonderful perfume was amazing and the landscape was beyond beautiful! Our little daughter soon became anesthized by the lime smell and she fell asleep in my arms. We continued our trip in total silence and we were feeling like we were in another dimension...

The limes are not blooming yet, but we are expecting them to bloom soon... and we will remember again the night trip through the hills of Moldova, covered in accacia and lime forests...
